Dress Code

 

 

One of the most important aspects of the Sixth Form students' image is the way that students dress.  In line with developing maturity, Sixth Form students are allowed a simpler dress code.

GIRLS

  • Black cardigan or formal lounge jacket (no zip up tops or blouson style jackets)
  • Black skirt (appropriate for school - no shorter than knee length and not split leg)
  • White or black plain school type blouse with collar (no markings or designer labels)
  • Black trousers (these may be worn instead of a skirt, but must be a 'business-style' tailored trouser, no denims, skinny type jeans or combat trousers)
  • Tights (these may be patterned, but not fishnet, tights or socks but not not leggings)
  • Dark leather sensible school type shoes (no boots, trainers or canvas shoes)
  • Scarves/Hats may be worn during the winter months (plain black or white)
  • Dark outdoor coat (plain with no markings or lettering and no denim, leather or zip tops)
  • Jewellery (this must be discreet)

BOYS

  • Dark suit/blazer with plain dark tailored trousers (outdoor or informal jackets must not be worn)
  • Black V-necked pullover or cardigan
  • Plain white or black shirt
  • 6th Form Tie (purchased from the School at enrolment)
  • Dark sensible school type leather shoes (no trainers or canvas shoes)
  • Dark outdoor coat (plain with no markings or letterings and no denim, leather or zip tops)
  • Scarves/Hats may be worn during the winter months (plain black or white)
  • Jewellery (boys may wear ear studs but no earings)
